Gwyneth Paltrow: "People Are So Mean to Me!"

Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't care if you don't like her.

Though the actress, 38, has caught flak for her lifestyle newsletter, GOOP, she's still dishing out the advice.

"Any time you do anything with any degree of sincerity, people make fun of you," she tells the March issue of Harper's Bazaar UK. "That's totally fine. I don't care. I don't read any of it. My thing with Goop has always been, if you don't like it, then don't log onto it."

The star does admit, however, that she did contemplate pulling the plug on the site.

"There were a couple of times when I thought 'I'm just gonna stop doing it. People are so mean to me. I don't want to do it,'" she says. "But then I was like, 'Who cares what some lame person out there says?' I was in Italy once, and this old man came up to me and said, 'I had the best time in Nashville because of Goop.' And that is so worth it to me.?

It helps that the married mom of two has plenty of pals -- including some very famous ones, like Beyonce, who gave her advice for her role as a singer in Country Strong.

"Beyonc� is the most talented human being on the planet," Paltrow gushes to the mag. "She has so much mastery over what she does. It's not even confidence ? it's on a whole other level. It's mind-blowing. I watched her [perform] a lot to see how she did it, and I was like 'Shit! I can?t do that!'"

The actress adds that her Iron Man costar, Robert Downey Jr., also gave her some tips for her performance as an ex-drug addict.

"Alcoholism is such a vicious cycle and Robert really helped me understand it," she says. " I understand how you can do something bad for you because I smoked forever. I smoked even when my dad had throat cancer. I was like 'I know this is probably going to kill me, but I'm going to smoke it anyway.' But I didn?t understand wrecking other people's lives, and then kind of just waking up and tying your shoes. So he helped me figure that out."

'American Idol' Reject Sues For A Third Time

A former American Idol contestant is attempting to sue bosses for discrimination for a third time, withdrawing a $100 million complaint to ask for just $5 million.

Ian Benardo, who failed his audition when he tried out for the talent show in 2006, originally filed a $300 million lawsuit against producers, claiming they "exploited" his homosexuality by asking him to "gay it up."

He reduced his demand to $100 million when he refiled papers in September but the lawsuit was dismissed, reports TMZ.com.

But Benardo isn't giving up his fight - on Friday, he submitted another lawsuit in federal court, citing discrimination and requesting $5 million from TV executives.

The wannabe singer shocked audiences when he stormed the stage during the competition's live 2010 TV finale, grabbing the microphone from comedian Dane Cook to shout at judge Simon Cowell.

He later alleged Idol bosses had invited him to the special and put him up to the stunt.

Paltrow's Kids Are Self-Sufficient

Gwyneth Paltrow's children are ''self-sufficient.''

The "Country Strong" actress - who has daughter Apple, six and four-year-old son Moses with Coldplay frontman husband Chris Martin - hates leaving her kids when she is making a film but admitted they are both independent and can cope with her absences.

She said: "To be honest, I think my son is a bit young for me to be away. I really feel like during the first five years of a child's life it's really important to be there as much as you can."

"Now my children are self-sufficient. They really have an inner life and they know what they want and they know who they are. I think that it's OK to work."

"I just feel lucky that I don't have to do every day. When I'm gone, I'm really gone. When I'm home, I'm really home. That's the way it works in our house."

Gwyneth, 38, also revealed she is still devastated over the death of her father Bruce Paltrow from cancer in 2002 and finds it difficult to come to terms with the fact that her children will never know their grandfather.

She said in an interview with the Huffington Post: "It was the most pivotal moment of my life. And it was terrible. When people ask me, 'How do you do a scene like that where you cry all day?' it's like, 'I have so much pain over the loss of that man.' Like I could cry for 100 years."

"It's really hard for me knowing that my kids will never know him. It's really hard for me to realize that if he were to come back to life, he wouldn't know where I lived, he wouldn't know my phone number, he wouldn't know my kids, he wouldn't know my husband. He wouldn't know my life. It's still such a hard thing to get my head around, but it's my reality."

Mary Harvey: Still on the Attack!

It's like walking around in my life, and I'm not alive in my life.

So Mary Harvey profoundly stated to Jane Velez-Mitchell during an interview on HLN this week, as Steve Harvey's former lover was asked why she waited so many years to lash out against her husband.

The bitter ex-wife was so rattled by the simple question that she actually apologized to the host for her rambling response, saying she was under a lot of stress. She also complained about her lack of "access" to her son, saying the court gave the comedian custody because Steve said she was a "nobody."

Which either means the judge handling the case was the most unprofessional, star struck man to ever don a robe; or there is A LOT Mary isn't telling us...

Celebrity Hosts Bridal Events This Weekend

David Tutera, host of WE TV?s ?My Fair Wedding? and author of a new book by the same title, appears at bridal planning events inHampton Roads this weekend.�On Saturday, brides-to-be and event planners can directly interact with Tutera at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. The ballroom at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel will be transformed into a memorable ceremony and wedding reception with caterers offering samplings. Chaz Bono wants a body like Michael Chiklis

Chaz Bono may have been born a girl, but he always felt he was a boy.

As everyone knows by now, Chaz is Sonny and Cher's offspring, formerly known as Chastity.

"I've hated my body since puberty," he says in "Becoming Chaz," a documentary about his female-to-male transition.

Bono reveals that as a little girl he would go to sleep at night "praying [he'd] wake up as a boy."

Becoming Chaz, which premiered Sunday night at the Sundance Film Festival, is absolutely fascinating. Bono reveals everything and more. He is shown having his breast removal operation, contemplating genital reassignment surgery and taking his hormone shots. "I just knew I wanted to be a boy," Chaz says.

Co-producers and directors Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato also announced that a sequel is already in the works. "I wanted to do this because I wanted to help people," Chaz said. "And I knew that ... I could put a face on this issue that people just don't understand because it's a hard one to understand. I wanted to be able to change people's hearts and minds on this."

Singer Aaron Carter has entered a rehab center to treat addiction issues, a source tells E! exclusively.

The 23-year-old former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant checked into a private Southern California facility earlier this month, says the source.

The source reveals that Carter's choice to go to rehab was his move to "finally get help" and not a court-mandated decision. "He was struggling recently and needed this," adds a source.

Carter's manager Johnny Wright confirms the report, telling E! exclusively:

"Several months ago Aaron came to me to help him return to music and to restart his career. He has been in Orlando working on a new album and perfecting his live show and his physical body. Aaron, understanding the challenges and hard work it would take to get himself back to the top, requested to take some time before we started to heal some emotional and spiritual issues he was dealing with. Therefore he has chosen to enter a facility where he feels he will get the guidance and cleansing he needs that will help him on the music journey he's about to take. He asks that everyone keep him in their prayers and that they respect his privacy at this time."

Once a teen star (and reported romantically linked to both Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff), Carter has most recently been in Orlando working on his new album. But friends and family are said to have urged that he stop working and fly to LA to seek treatment.

In 2006, Carter starred in the E! reality show "House of Carters" with his family, including his older brother, Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys. Later that year, Aaron appeared on Celebrity Rehab 2 and was treated for substance abuse.

Older brother Nick has been very supportive, reportedly visiting Aaron at the facility between rehearsals for the NKOTBSB tour, a source tells E!

Carter hasn't let his reported rehab stint stifle his tweeting habits, posting positive and inspirational messages on Twitter over the past couple weeks, including "I had a great day with my brother @ NickCarter he always comes to bat for me when others believe someone else over me!" and "Life Has Its up's &Downs, You Can Only Live &Learn. Never Lose Faith!! &Always Believe In Yourself! As I Am learning To Do Every day."

The last time Carter was in the news was December 24, when rumor of his overdose took over Twitter. Carter's manager Wright shot down the claim, telling E!, "Aaron Carter is alive and well at my compound in Orlando..."

George Clooney: I Won't Get Married Again

Don't expect George Clooney's love Elisabetta Canalis to join Hollywood's bridal brigade -- because her famous beau is not interested in getting hitched.

In a Friday interview on Piers Morgan Tonight, Clooney, 49, appeared alongside his father Nick, who admitted he "yearned for the moment" when his movie star son would wed Canalis. (Nick and George's mom Nina have been married for over 50 years.)

George's retort: "I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot."

Indeed, it's a lesser-known fact that Clooney was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.

Where is Balsam these days? The actress, 51, keeps busy with a steady stream of film and TV roles; she plays Natalie Portman's mom in No Strings Attached, out this weekend. As a recurring character on Mad Men, she plays ex-wife to Roger Sterling, played by actor John Slattery -- her real-life husband, with whom she has one son, Harry.

Clooney and Italian actress/model Canalis, 32, have been dating since 2009. She opened up to Italian Vanity Fair last year about her romance with one of the world's most desired men.

"There are some people who just don't want to see me happy," Canalis complained. "[George] reassures me all the time. He is very close. I feel more embraced than ever before. The idea of being so loved is overwhelming...George has given color back to my life."

Snooki, JWoww to Film Jersey Shore Spinoff Pilot?

Snooki and JWoww are, like, total BFFs, as last night's Jersey Shore proved. They're so tight, MTV wants them to film a spinoff pilot - this weekend!

The pilot episode will be shot in Long Island over the weekend. There's no special hook to the potential new show, it's just JWoww and Snooki solo.

Sort of like the Kardashians and their 19 spinoffs. It's a bit odd that MTV even wants a pilot. They sort of know what to expect from JWooki, no?

GRUESOME TWOSOME: Is MTV spinning off JWoww and Snooki?

This would be the second proposed spinoff of Jersey Shore, which is reportedly airing a fourth season as well. A Pauly D spinoff has already begun filming.

No word yet what Jenni and Nicole will be doing in the pilot, but we would bet a fair amount that there will be a lot of bronzer, boobs and buff dudes. Sweet.

The "Green Hornet" actor had planned an elaborate proposal, but decided to pop the question to his long-time love Lauren Miller right then in their home in case he lost the ring, much to the unhappiness of his future father-in-law.

Seth - who proposed to his girlfriend of six years last September - told US TV talk show host Jay Leno: "She happened to only be in her underpants. I didn't think I'd be telling it so much when I did it. Her parents have heard me tell the story, and her dad's not happy about it."

"He asked 'You couldn't have waited until she had a shirt on at all? That wasn't an option?'"

Earlier this week the funnyman confessed that since he proposed Lauren has been doing all the wedding planning -and feels like he's "the last piece of the puzzle."

Check Out Trailer To VH1's 'Single Ladies' With LisaRaye, Stacey Dash

VH1 has released the trailer to their upcoming 2-hour series premiere event 'Single Ladies,' a comedic drama that asks the question: What do women really want in a relationship?

Executive produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment, the comedic drama follows three best friends (played by Charity Shea, Stacey Dash, and LisaRaye McCoy) with three different relationship philosophies living in Atlanta.

Premiering Monday, May 30th at 9 PM ET/PT on VH1, the series will be the basic cable network's first foray into the hour-long scripted genre.

Stacey Dash plays Val, an ambitious aspiring fashion mogul who wants to find a true partner, LisaRaye McCoy is Keisha a former video dancer in search of a sugar daddy to keep her laced in riches and Charity Shea is April, the married friend who learned that finding your true love isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

"I am thrilled about 'Single Ladies!' going to series as Queen Latifah is an icon and a pioneer," Dash told BlackVoices.com last October. "It's a blessing to be on her team and VH-1 is the perfect place for us to shine."

Lauren London, Eve, Common, TLC's Chili, and Kim Porter will also make guest appearances.

'Single Ladies' was originally shot as a movie in the summer of 2010, but VH1 decided that the film was so good it needed to be a new television series.

"Once we saw an early cut of the movie we knew right away we needed to make this a series," Jeff Olde, VH1 EVP of Original Programming and Production, said in a statement.

Both the movie and eight-episode series will premiere in July 2011.

Justin Bieber Hospitalized!

Last updated: Friday, January 14, 2011 Justin Bieber was hospitalized with breathing difficulties on Wednesday (January 12, 2011).

The 16-year-old singing sensation was taken to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California after suffering an allergic reaction while shooting a guest appearance in US TV drama series "CSI," but was discharged just 50 minutes later.

His representative said: "He is fine. He had a mild allergic reaction while they were wrapping up on the set of 'CSI.' His doctor met him at the hospital to make sure everything was OK. He was released within the hour after his doctor declared him fine. He is back on set working. All is well."

Despite his medical emergency, Justin made no mention of his hospital visit when updating fans about his day on twitter.

He simply posted: "Ok last day on the set as a bada*s. Gonna get deadly today."

Justin - who has been romantically linked with Selena Gomez - recently admitted he can't live like a "regular" kid because he can't afford to take a break when he is tired or ill because of his commitments.

He said: "It's hard to really balance myself. A regular kid, if he catches the flu, he just gets to go home. But I can't do that . Everything is important. But, you know, my sanity is important, too."

"Even if I'm angry, I'll just put a smile on my face and fake it. I don't often fake it - what's me is me. I know I have to give up a lot of myself, or a lot of a private life."

Aretha Franklin: I Never Had Pancreatic Cancer

Aretha Franklin is on the mend and she's setting the record straight about her December health scare. Sort of.

Though the Queen of Soul declines to get into the specifics of the problem, she wants to make one thing clear: "I don?t know where 'pancreatic cancer' came from," the Grammy winner, 68, told Access Hollywood in a Thursday interview. "I was sitting there reading the newspaper and it was saying someone in my family said that. No one in my family ever said that to anybody."

What she will reveal, however, is that she sought treatment after experiencing a pain in her side that "was so hard it almost brought me to my knees."

And following a successful procedure, Franklin is back and better than ever.

"[My doctor] said, 'The surgery that you just had is going to add 15 to 20 more years to your life," she said, adding that she's slimmed "down to a rockin' [size] 16-18. It?s getting better every day. I plan on keeping this weight that I have now -- I?m so happy with it."

All of the glamorous Hollywood children were invited to this spectacular event.�The venue was no other than the Tree House Social Club in Hollywood. The guest of honor Harlow Madden was so excited to share her special event with all of her friends. Here are some of the special guests attending: Ellen Pompeo?s daughter ? Stella, Kourtney Kardashian?s son ? Mason, Gwen Stefani son?s ? Kingston and Zuma, and these are just the few of the many celebrity children attending.

The party was filled with games, live entertainment, art tattoos, popcorn, hot dogs, etc. Everything that a kid?s birthday party should have was there for the guests and the guest of honor to indulge. The best part was the balloon decorations as well as the scrumptious, yummy cupcakes that the kids enjoyed. They were suited for perfect birthday celebration.�The favor bags were an absolute must at the end of the event. All the kids went home with a special goodie bag made for them with all these great gifts.
