Catherine Zeta-Jones Seeks Treatment for Bipolar Disorder

Catherine Zeta-Jones has checked into a mental health facility, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.

The 41-year-old Oscar winner -- who remained by husband Michael Douglas' side throughout his recent cancer battle -- is seeking treatment for Bipolar II disorder.

"After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check into a mental health facility for a brief stay," her rep tells Us in a statement. "She's feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films."

Zeta-Jones and Douglas, 66, have two children together: son Dylan, 10, and daughter Carys, 7. The actress will next appear in Playing the Field, opposite Gerard Butler, Dennis Quaid, Jessica Biel and Uma Thurman.
